We're excited about our newest event at Makery Coworking: FEAST Litchfield CNTY.
FEAST (Funding Emerging Art with Sustainable Tactics) is a recurring public dinner designed to use community-driven financial support to democratically fund new and emerging creative ideas. Our first dinner will take place on Thursday, May 3rd at 6:30pm.
The goal of FEAST Litchfield CNTY is to fund creative projects that benefit the community. We welcome all types of ideas from all over Litchfield County, but they must adhere to three criteria:
1) Original - Is the idea innovative? Is it compelling?
2) Beneficial - Will your idea help enrich the lives of those who live in Litchfield County?
3) Feasible - Is your idea plausible? Can it realistically be implemented? How will the winning money be used for the project?
That's it, the rest is up to you.
How does it work?
Guests purchase tickets for $25, which pays for your meal and ballot. As we dine, selected creatives will present their project ideas. Attendees will get to vote for their favorite project on a ballot. The idea with the most votes wins and takes home the net proceeds to help fund their project.
Have an idea? Once you are ready to submit, visit our webpage to complete a short submission form.
To reserve your seats please visit our Eventbrite Page. Those selected to present are not required to purchase a ticket (although we welcome a donation).
