Congratulations to Makery Coworking members, Ben Grinnell and Rich Portelance who took first place honors and a $10,000 cash award at the 2017 reSET Venture Showcase at Hartford's Mark Twain House.
Ben and Rich founded CareerPath, a mobile platform for the new era of career exploration and preparation. Their software solution helps universities engage students with career planning and preparation. A recent CareerPath engagement Darmouth College showed a +153% increase in student engagement. The company continues to add schools to its portfolio, including local school, Western Connecticut State University.
The duo participated in reSET's social enterprise accelerator program, which concluded with Wednesday night's pitch event. Read more about the event here.
