New date!

6:30 - 9:00 pm

Makery Coworking

20 Bank St. New Milford

FEAST (Funding Emerging Art with Sustainable

Tactics) is a recurring public dinner designed to use community-driven financial support to democratically fund new and emerging creative ideas.

Guests purchase tickets for $25, which pays for your meal and your ballot. Have dinner and drinks with us in a lively and artistic environment. Selected local creatives will present project ideas that they believe will make a positive impact in the community. As we eat, you get to vote for your favorite project on a ballot. The idea with most votes wins and takes home the net proceeds from the event to help fund their project.

FEAST Litchfield CNTY is designed to change the way we think about funding creative projects. Alas, there is hope for the dreamer! Join us for this unique opportunity to sit with other dreamers and help the community by pooling resources and believing in somebody with a huge heart, and an idea.

How do I submit an idea? Is there  specific criteria?

We welcome a diverse array of ideas from anyone, anywhere in Litchfield County. We invite you to tap into your imagination and think outside of the box! Perhaps you might envision a community-wide mural on the side of a building, a mobile elixir bar, or a sculpture that conveys a heartfelt message. We want to help you spread your love and light.

Ballot-worthy ideas will satisfy the following creative criteria:

1) Original - Is the idea innovative? Is it compelling?

2) Beneficial - Will your idea help enrich or better the lives of those in who live in Litchfield County?

3) Feasible - Is your idea plausible? Can it realistically be implemented? How will the winning money be used for the project?

If your project is selected to appear on the ballot, you will be allotted 10 minutes to present at FEAST Litchfield CNTY.

Ready to submit your idea? Fill out our online form to get started.

Tell us what you have in mind, and please include as much information as possible about your idea. The better we can understand your vision, the greater your chance of presenting at the next Feast.

History and Shoutout!

FEAST began as an organization in Brooklyn. However it disbanded in 2012. Since 2009, FEAST Brooklyn produced 13 dinners, funded 32 projects, and awarded $21,406. Meanwhile, similar models have emerged across the country, resulting in a network of organizations committed to rethinking how art is financed and communally experienced.

We would also like to give a special shoutout to FEASTRVA who has been running FEAST celebrations for the past 6.5 years in Richmond, VA. Josh, the founder of FeastRVA has been kind enough to mentor us as we plan  for New Milford's first FEAST celebration.
